Information not collected

DocLayer does not collect or store personal information about users. Examples of information not collected by DocLayer includes:

When you create documents with DocLayer, your documents are sent directly from your computer to Dropbox. This means that none of your documents are ever sent back to DocLayer.

Information collected

DocLayer uses Cloudflare to run the DocLayer website. Cloudflare collects information about how you use DocLayer. This data is then used to provide aggregate reports about how the DocLayer website is used, such as the total number of visitors, the total number of visitors in a particular country, and the webpages that are requested.


DocLayer uses Google Web Fonts to display the fonts used in docLayer. Google collects limited information about what webpages you view in order to display these fonts.

Information shared with third parties

When you use DocLayer, your documents, preferences, and other data are stored in Dropbox, and Dropbox can view this information.

When you use certain features of DocLayer, portions of your document, along with data such as your IP address and web browser, may be shared with others, as described in the table below.

Updates to the privacy policy

When this privacy policy is updated, the date listed at the top of this privacy policy will be changed. In addition, a notice will be displayed at the top of the DocLayer website explaining the privacy policy changes.
